• This is a test and repair service of the customers own unit.
• Upon return the customer is supplied with loom adapter to re-attach the loom that was cut to remove the unit.
• See images below for removal instructions
• Tools required include: T20 torx key, small hook tool or similar, plastic trim removal tool or small flat screwdriver.

Using either plastic trim tool or similar, gently pry a corner of shifter surround

Using your fingers, lift the shifter surround and boot as high as possible (see pic below)

Again - using your fingers, locate the plastic nut (see image) below the shift knob.  Rotate nut anti clockwise and shift knob and leather boot will release

Unplug the 2 cables attached and sit aside 

Using your fingers - lift the woodgrain trim (see below) and place aside

Remove rubber insert from coin / phone holder and locate T20 torx screw (see below). 

Next, remove 3 remaining T20 torx screws shown below and lift console surround and remove

Locate the 4 wire cable and follow along until you find the connector plug.  Unplug the connector but do not attempt to remove the cable (see below)

Using a small hook, gently lift the cable and cut 4 wire harness as shown (see below).  

Now comand control knob is free to be removed and sent to Injectronics for repair

Note: Once the unit is repaired and returned, Injectronics will supply a connector plug to allow you to re-join cut wires avoiding the need to resolder or remove entire
